During Phase 1 of our Return to School Plan, students in grades K-12 have been divided alphabetically by the last name and will attend as follows:
· A thru K will attend on Mondays and Wednesdays
· L thru Z will attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Our primary objectives in this decision are to cap the daily school attendance at 50% to provide social distancing and ensure that siblings and students in the same household are on the same schedule. Nevertheless, we recognize that family circumstances may require adjustments. Consequently, school principals may adjust a student’s schedule if,
1. The family has demonstrated a clear hardship, and
2. A change does not negatively impact another school’s enrollment and maintains each school’s attendance cap.
