The Elementary STEM Endorsement Cohort attended a week long course at the UVU Field Station in Capitol Reef National Park.
Capitol Reef National Park is located in South-Central Utah and is home to red rock, cliffs, canyons, domes and bridges.
The teachers participated in activities that increased their understanding of matter, energy and the nature environment. They were able to hike around the park as they participated in these activities.
Teachers also practiced nature journaling and several teachers volunteered to help remove graffiti in the National Park.
