Twenty-six students from Provo High attended the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Competition on March 20-21, 2018.
The FCCLA State Competition was held at the Davis Conference Center, and was an opportunity for members of FCCLA to compete for the opportunity to attend the National Competition in Atlanta, Ga.
At the beginning on the school year, students were able to choose a topic, and work in teams to create a presentation in preparation for this competition. Each student did a wonderful job and represented Provo High well.
Nine students from Provo High qualified for Nationals in Atlanta, Ga. this summer.
Those that qualified for Nationals are: Selina Notoa & Melissa Garcia – Chapter in Review Display Marianne Chambers & Kayla Gamette – Chapter Service Portfolio Abbey Chambers, Afton Black, Leah Syzmanski, Brita Syzmanski, & Justin Sevison – Parliamentary Procedure
