Last week Provo High’s BioTecnology Concurrent Enrollment class engaged in a comprehensive lab day. The students were given DNA samples and tested for genetically modified foods within foods that claim to be non-GMO.
These students worked in groups with the assistance of their teacher, Lorien Francis. Through doing this students were able to participate in STEM learning as well as gain college credit. Students had a great time participating in hands-on, high level learning.
