学校社区理事会

The Provo City School District Board of Education recognizes that parental participation is an essential component in school decision-making. The Board of Education directs each school to establish and maintain a school community council for the purpose outlined in Utah Code referenced below. In general, community councils are formed to serve specific a function, namely the planning, development and implementation of school improvement and professional development plans for the purpose of increasing student achievement. In addition, the councils serve to advise and make recommendations to school and district administrators regarding other school and district programs. Nothing in this policy is meant to supersede the intent of Utah Code that authorizes School Community Councils.

角色

学校社区理事会应

制定学校土地信托计划，该计划必须以学校提高学生成绩的最关键需求为重点。
按照地区专业发展指南，协助规划和实施员工发展。
Develop and maintain a Safe Routes to School plan at each Elementary and Middle School.
Advise and make recommendations to the principal regarding School Improvement Plan, Safe Technology Use and Digital Citizenship, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Behavior Plans, and other school programs.
Approve the School Improvement Plan prior to submission to the Board of Education.
