Harmony Kartchner’s Profile

Harmony Kartchner is beginning her 12th year with Provo School District and her 21st year in education. Prior to coming to Utah she was a teacher, teacher coach and administrator in a suburb of Houston, Texas for 9 years. Ms. Kartchner attended BYU where she received a B.S. in Elementary Education. While in Texas, she completed the requirements for a gifted education endorsement from the University of St. Thomas, and also attended University of Houston on a full ride scholarship, where she received her Masters degree in Education, with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, in 2005. She completed her administration certification in 2008. Ms. Kartchner believes that all students can learn and it takes teachers, parents, admin and students working as a team to help make that happen. She loves the energy that comes from working in a school with children, parents and teachers and looks forward to every day as a new adventure.
