STEM

STEM refers to the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, including computer science. Through STEM education, students learn to become problem solvers, innovators, creators, and collaborators and go on to fill the critical pipeline of engineers, scientists, and innovators so essential to the future of Utah and the nation.

STEM education inspires and prepares all students to seize the opportunities of the global society through innovation, inquiry, collaboration, and creative problem solving.

Our district is currently holding STEM Fairs at nearly every school in the district. If you would like to be a STEM Fair judge  you can sign up using the link below.

Winners from each School STEM Fair will be invited to participate in the District STEM Fair on Feb. 13th, 2024 at Shoreline Middle School.

Winners from the District STEM Fair will be invited to participate in the Central Utah STEM Fair at BYU.   You can find the Rules to the STEM Fair and many resources to help students build their projects on the Central Utah STEM Fair website.
