Policy 5140 Accommodations for Employees with Disabilities

The Provo City School District Board of Education is committed to providing a positive learning and working environment. The Board has directed the Superintendent to develop a policy that prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities in job application procedures, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation, job training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. The District has created procedures for requesting reasonable workplace accommodations as appropriate under law.
