Provo eSchool Summer School
**UPDATE: Provo City School District is committed now and always to providing quality online courses for students at all grade levels. In accordance with this ideal and in response to community feedback, PCSD has decided to offer original credit courses through eSchool’s Summer School program beginning immediately. Due to COVID-19, these courses will be available at NO COST to students this summer only. Interested students should fill out the Summer School registration form and submit their forms to the eSchool office via email (eSchool@provo.edu) or in person on Tuesdays from 9-3. Please note that students are limited to enrolling in 1.0 credit (two semester courses).
Please note: eSchool follows the district’s schedule of working Monday-Thursday during the summer. Emails are checked Monday-Thursday, and the office is open Tuesdays from 9-3.
Summer term beings May 27, 2020 and ends July 29, 2020. All course and tests MUST be completed by July 29, 2020 at midnight. Students may not begin early nor receive an extension.
Last day to enroll in original credit: June 25
Last day to enroll in credit recovery: July 8
To enroll, please fill out and return the following form. Applications must be returned via email to eSchool@provo.edu.
Students may enroll in a total of 1.0 credit (two semester classes) for the summer term. All Edgenuity and BYU IS courses are available with the following exceptions:
- Fitness for Sports and Recreation
- Intermediate Swimming
- Weight Training
- Walking Fitness
- AP courses
**Please note that Fitness for Life is available this summer through Edgenuity. It’s a 9-week version of the course, so students must start on the first day of summer school in order to complete it.**
No K12 courses are available during the summer.
Students may enroll in credit recovery courses as well. The cost is $35/term or $60/semester. We offer credit recovery courses in the following subjects:
- Art History
- Business Office Specialist
- Earth Science
- English 9, 10, 11, 12
- Environmental Science
- Financial Math
- Financial Literacy (Personal Finance)
- Fitness for Life
- Intro to Art
- Physical Education
- Physical Science
- Secondary Math I, II, III
- US Government
- US History
- World History
