Provo eSchool Summer School
Summer term beings June 7, 2021 and ends July 29, 2021. All coursework and tests MUST be completed by July 29, 2021 at midnight. Students may not begin early nor receive an extension. Final exams will be proctored virtually via Zoom the last week of July.
Online summer school is for students in grades 9-12, including incoming 9th graders. No K-8 courses are available during the summer. There is no cost for summer school this year. Registration begins April 12th, and the last day to enroll in any summer classes (either original credit or credit recovery) is July 1st.
To enroll in an online summer school course, please fill out the Registration Form.
None of the online summer classes are NCAA approved, so do not enroll in them if you wish to play college sports at a Division I or II school. All final exams must be proctored. eSchool staff will be holding proctoring sessions virtually via Zoom the last week of July or earlier by appointment (email eSchool@provo.edu).
Letter grades will be awarded for any original credit course. If you enroll in a summer school course and do not drop it within one week, you are responsible to finish the course. Any student who does not drop or finish a course will receive a failed grade. Credit recovery courses are pass/fail only.
Students will need to use their own device or a Chromebook checked out from their high school. eSchool will not be checking out Chromebooks for summer school.
Students may enroll in a total of 1.0 original credit (two semester classes) for the summer term or up to four credit recovery courses. The available courses are listed below:
Secondary Math I, II, III
English 9, 10, 11, 12
Exploring Computer Science
Fitness for Life**
**Please note that Fitness for Life is available as a 7-week course, so students must start on the first day of summer school in order to complete it.
