On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Edgemont Elementary flew its Department of Education Blue Ribbon Flag.

The school held an assembly attended by Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi, School Board President Rebecca Nielsen, Superintendent Wendy Dau, and many other special guests. The Edgemont choir performed a celebratory number, and the students sang their school anthem as the flag was raised.

The 2024 National Blue Ribbon Schools reflect the full diversity of American education and serve students from all backgrounds. While awardees represent a wide array of schools, they share common traits.
