Believe it or not, summer is fast approaching! During the summer, there is an opportunity for students called “The Summer Child Nutrition Program” where they can continue to eat breakfast and lunch that is provided by our schools.
The Summer Child Nutrition Program ensures that children continue to learn and grow, and to have access to nutritious meals during the summer months when schools are closed. It is a key building block in our community for healthy, happy children who are ready to learn. All children and teens ages 1-18 may participate in this program and eat breakfast and lunch for free.
Following is a list of schools and the dates and times they will serve breakfast and lunch during the summer. Each school will serve meals to the community Monday through Thursday only. There is no program Monday and Tuesday, July 3 and 4, 2017; and Monday, July 24 at Independence High School.
Timpanogos Elementary School
Franklin Elementary School
Provo Peaks Elementary School
Spring Creek Elementary School
Independence High School
Please note that meals must be eaten by the children in the school cafeteria. Parents/Adults may purchase a breakfast for $2.00, and a lunch for $4.00, and enjoy a meal with their children. Please be aware that the menu may change due to product availability.
