Spring Creek Receives State Recognition

This month, Spring Creek Elementary School received recognition from the Utah State Board of Education for excellence in Title I School English Education.

Spring Creek was one of eight elementary schools in Utah to receive this recognition based upon the following performance criteria:

Enrollment over 400
80-100% Economically Disadvantaged students
40-50% Students Learning English
40-60% of Students have achieved her/his individual annual growth goal
10% or more have achieved English proficiency

Spring Creek will be highlighted on the USBE website, receive a framed Certificate of Achievement and recognition by the Utah State Board of Education President (Sydnee Dickinson) message to the board.
