Provo City School District maintains the Special Education records of students who were found eligible and received Special Educational services until the services were no longer needed.
The records will be destroyed by Provo City School District two years after a student has been declassified from Special Education services or three years after the student graduated or three years after the student turns 22. We will be destroying Special Education records that fit this description by July 29, 2022.
A student may claim copies of their records, which might be needed for private, State, or federal programs before they are destroyed.
If so, please contact Joy Stoddard at 801-374-4883 or email joyst@provo.edu.
