Jess Hansen’s Profile

Jess began as a 4th grade teacher at Provost Elementary, where she was name Teacher of the Year in 2014. Beginning in June 2015, Hansen was a Clinical Faculty Associate within the district. In this capacity, she mentored, observed, evaluated, and provided feedback to teaching interns, student teachers and practicum students from Brigham Young University. She then spent one year at Spring Creek Elementary as the Behavior Support Specialist. During the 2018-2019 school year, Jess served as the assistant principal at Wasatch Elementary.

Hansen received her Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Science Emphasis from Utah State University. She completed her Masters of Education, School Leadership from Brigham Young University in 2018.

Jess and her husband Ben enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling as much as possible.
