Invest Nest Provo: Turning Student Ideas into Reality

By Milan Nikolae Venegas

Imagine if your boldest business idea could become a reality—that’s exactly what Invest Nest Provo is all about! A mix between Shark Tank and American Idol, this innovative competition gives high school students the chance to pitch their business ideas, develop real-world skills, and even win investment funding to bring their visions to life.

More than just a competition, Invest Nest serves as a launchpad for young entrepreneurs, pushing students to think creatively, refine their ideas, and gain confidence in the business world. Student associate and event organizer Lilly Davis explains, “Invest Nest isn’t just about winning—it’s about students challenging themselves and learning how to turn ideas into action. Seeing students collaborate, refine their concepts, and build confidence makes all the behind-the-scenes effort completely worth it.”

The latest round of Invest Nest Provo showcased some of the most exciting and innovative student-led businesses yet. Finalists from Round 2 advanced to the final competition, where they presented their refined business models before a panel of judges, competing for the chance to secure funding.
