Return to School Updates: Half Day Kindergarten

In an effort to provide as much in class time as possible, an adjustment has been made to the return to school plan for Half Day Kindergarten.  The updates include:

  1. Half Day Kindergarten will follow the same A/B schedule as students in Grades 1-6
  2. They will attend 2 days per week
  3. They will have 2 hour sessions and follow the normal early dismissal bell schedule.  Specific start times vary slightly by school.

For example, each class, AM and PM, will be divided by alphabet and designated to attend Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday along with the rest of the school. The AM group would attend a two hour session from 8:40-10:40 AM. The Afternoon kindergarten group will attend from 11:40 to 1:40 PM following our typical Friday release schedule. 

These updates increase half day kindergarten students from one in-person day per week to two.
