Provo City School District seeks to maintain standards for the safety of student transportation and to enforce policies for district-authorized transportation which will ensure the safety of passengers and the public at all times. Pursuant with Utah State code dictating safety and operational requirements, as well as standards by which school districts may qualify for state transportation funds, procedures have been developed for managing transportation within Provo City School District.

The Board directs the Superintendent to develop procedures which will enforce rules for state reimbursed bus routes, bus safety and operational requirements, and other transportation needs.
