The purpose of the art collection in Provo schools is to educate youth and build character. Original works of art by noted artists inspire students to a greater appreciation of and interest in the creative process.

The art referred to in this document consists only of original works of art; prints, copies, lithographs, etc., are not governed by this policy.

Declaração de política

• The Provo City Board of Education recognizes the work of the Provo City School District Art Committee, whose mission is to present, preserve, protect, and procure art for the purpose of education.
• The Board directs the superintendent to develop procedures for managing the district’s permanent art collection.
