Why I Teach: Judy Rose

This school year we are focusing on the key people who are at the heart of what makes our district great: our teachers. Each week, we are interviewing individual teachers to learn about why they became a teacher and why they love to teach. We hope this will be a fun way to remind, inspire, motivate and get to know the teachers within our district. This weeks feature is Judy Rose. Judy Rose has been a classroom teacher for 22 years. Until this year, she has been teaching sixth grade at Lakeview. She is now our Math Curriculum Specialist. Judy loves the challenges of teaching and loves to see students progress from a desire to get it done, to a desire to do it well. Her students love her and want to do their best and her classroom is always fun to visit!
