Second graders at Wasatch Elementary School discovered their safari side when Loveland Living Planet Aquarium visited them on September 13, 2017. These students were held captivated as they saw a Blood Python from Asia, a Crested Gecko from Australia, a Cave Cockroach from South America, and a Grey Parrot from Africa. Many more animals were shown, and the students asked questions about the origins and habits of the creatures. It was a great opportunity for our second graders to not only learn about animals from other places, but see the animals for themselves as well.
