Wasatch students recently had the opportunity to attend a bluegrass concert featuring the Daniel family, a local family whose children attend Wasatch Elementary.

This concert was held in the Wasatch Elementary auditorium and, during this time, students were able to learn more about bluegrass as they were introduced to different types of bluegrass instruments such as the fiddle, the washboard, spoons, bass, guitar and mandolin.

The students clapped along to different styles of bluegrass music and a few of the students were even able to play the spoons.

Overall, students were able to learn more about this style of music as they watched, listened and even helped perform (through playing the spoons) music with the Daniel Family.

Thank you to the Daniel Family for sharing your talents with the Wasatch student body and providing the opportunity for these students to become more educated on the art of bluegrass music.
