Elves are extra busy this time of year, as they rush to make toys in time for Christmas and so are students at Timpview High School.

Students in the Timpview wood shop classes decided to make wooden rocking horses this year to help raise money for “Sub for Santa”.

Sub for Santa is a charity that focuses on donating gifts to people in need for Christmas. Those who donate to this program can even provide Christmas for entire families. Sub for Santa is partnered with The United Way of Utah County. The United Way screens each family in order to confirm their identities and income before any donations are given.

Timpview students have built 11 rocking horses so far that are on sale for $40 each. All of the money raised will be donated to Sub for Santa.
