As we continue to celebrate Library month, we’d also like to share a little bit about our wonderful librarians.

When asked about Karalee Fisher, the Sunset View librarian, the school said, “We absolutely love Karalee! She brings a feisty, fiery attitude and a love of learning and reading that is absolutely contagious amongst our students.” We are so grateful for librarians like Karalee, who help create successful readers at our schools.

Karalee is on her second year at Sunset View about and has taken on everything with a smile. She has worked to update and upgrade the books in the library, and taken on Battle of the Books each year – she is a total Rock Star! Her support and involvement with Battle of the Books engages her students, gets them collaborating, and has them eager to discuss the books they are reading. Ms. Fisher brings an attitude of fun and excitement to every class she teaches. She is widely known for her themed lessons and stories, and matching them with a fun outfit. It is not uncommon for Ms. Fisher to be dressed in costume several days in a row – and it is something that our students absolutely love!

Mientras seguimos celebrando el mes de la Biblioteca, nos gustaría también compartir un poco sobre nuestros maravillosos bibliotecarios.

Cuando se le preguntó por Karalee Fisher, la bibliotecaria de Sunset View, la escuela dijo: “¡Nos encanta Karalee! Ella trae una actitud luchadora y enérgica y un amor por el aprendizaje y la lectura que es absolutamente contagioso entre nuestros estudiantes”. Estamos muy agradecidos por bibliotecarios como Karalee, que ayudan a crear lectores exitosos en nuestras escuelas.

Karalee ya está en su segundo año en Sunset View y ha asumido todo con una sonrisa. Ha trabajado para actualizar y mejorar los libros en la biblioteca, y se ha encargado de la Batalla de los Libros cada año – ¡es una estrella de rock total! Su apoyo y participación en la Batalla de los Libros involucra a sus estudiantes, los hace colaborar, y los tiene deseosos de discutir los libros que están leyendo. La Sra. Fisher aporta una actitud de diversión y entusiasmo a cada clase que imparte. Es muy conocida por sus lecciones y sus historias temáticas, y por combinarlas con un traje divertido. No es raro que la Sra. Fisher se disfrace varios días seguidos, ¡y es algo que a nuestros alumnos les encanta!
