This week, a teacher and student from Provo City School District were featured in the Daily Herald as part of the “Educator of the Week” and “Student of the Week”.
Educator of the Week
Tarnue Ali, who is abehavior interventionist at Provo Peaks Elementary School, was selected as the “Educator of the Week”.
Ali was selected because he always demonstrates patience, persistence and dedication each day at work. He has a difficult job of helping children develop social skills, improve their ability to learn in school and eliminate or reduce negative behaviors. However, he gets to know each child individually and builds a trusting relationship with them.
Thank you to Tarnue for making such a positive impact at Provo Peaks Elementary through your positivity and dedication to students.

Student of the Week
Cameron Morgan, who is a sixth grade student at Wasatch Elementary School in Provo, was selected as the “Student of the Week”
Cameron was selected because he is an incredibly respectful and responsible student who makes an effort to be kind to everyone. Not only this, but he also is very talented, and has a great sense of humor. In his spare time, he loves to read books about history. He is especially interested in reading about World War II, and loves to make connections from his readings to things he is learning in school. Cameron frequently shares fun facts with his peers and helps them get just as excited as he is about history.
Thank you to Cameron for your positive impact at Wasatch Elementary through your contagious influence, honesty, peer encouragement, hard work and kindness.
