Julie Martin, Educator of the Week
Julie Martin is a kindergarten through 6th grade special education resource teacher for Spring Creek Elementary and was selected as the Daily Herald’s “Educator of the Week”.
Julie has worked with Provo City School District for about 30 years and has helped many students with learning challenges to succeed in their schoolwork. She has even made sensory bags that teachers around the school use to help students calm down and self-regulate their behaviors.
Julie is a great example of a loving person and is very deserving of this recognition. Thank you to Julie for all of her hard work and dedication!

Zach Sink, Student of the Week
Zach Sink is a senior at Provo High School and was selected as the Daily Herald’s “Student of the Week”.
Zach is known for his heavy involvement in the school, especially with the ballroom dance team. He is currently the president of the varsity team. While Zach keeps busy with extracurricular activities, he still manages to excel in school. He has a 3.997 GPA and will have completed 10 AP classes by the time he graduates.
He is admired by many for his positive attitude and willingness to include others. Zach is a great example of a student who works hard in both his schoolwork and other activities. Congratulations, Zach!
