Notice to Contractors: Request for Proposal

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Provo City School District, 280 West 940 North, Provo, Utah will receive sealed Bid Proposals, from General Contractors, at the Provo City School District Offices Attn: Tina Fluehe on or before 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24th, 2017, for the following project:

Provo City School District Timpview Stage and Orchestra Shell Upgrade 3570 Timpview Drive Provo, UT 84604

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with Contract Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents as prepared by FFKR Architects. Plans and specifications will be available on or after Wednesday, May 10th, 2017, through electronic format from the Department of Facilities, Provo City School District. Requests for electronic files should be submitted to markwh@provo.edu. Any questions during the bidding phase must be directed to FFKR Architects, attention Goran Ilic. (gilic@ffkr.com)

Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Provo City School District. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into the Contract or to furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract price.

Bid Proposal shall also include a scheduling commitment from the General Contractor that the project can be completed no later than Friday, August 4th, 2017.

The Board reserves the right to accept or to reject any or all Proposals, or waive any informality in a Proposal.
