National Reflections Recognition for Lakeview Student

Kai Jo, a fourth grade student at Lakeview Elementary was awarded a National PTA Reflections Award of Merit in Visual Arts within the Intermediate Age division at the National PTA Reflections Competition.

According to the National PTA website, each year hundreds of thousands of K-12 students nationwide submit original pieces of work in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.

From the thousands of students that submitted work, Kai Jo was awarded a National Award of Merit for his submission in the Visual Arts Category. Kai’s work will be showcased in the traveling exhibition.
