We had 4 new librarians come to various schools in our district this year. These included Olivia Carter (Westridge), Merna Raines (Timpanogos), Marianne Kraczek (Edgemont) and Karalee Fisher (Sunset View). We are highlighting each of these amazing women in order to help introduce them to those around the district.

Merna Raines is the newest librarian at Timpanogos Elementary. Prior to working at Timpanogos, Merna worked as a stay-at-home mother to three sons. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in History.

She loves to work at Timpanogos Elementary as the librarian because she loves getting to know the children and helping them to find a book that they love. When she’s not in the library, she loves to spend time with her family, watch movies and read great books. She says that her greatest accomplishment is being the mother of three amazing sons.

Make sure to stop by the Timpanogos Elementary library to welcome Merna to our district – we are lucky to have such an amazing librarian at Timpanogos!
