Julinna Koim Accepted to National OAKE Choir

Congratulations to Julinna Koim, a 7th grader at Centennial Middle School, for her acceptance in the National OAKE Youth Choir! She made it through a rigorous audition process and now has the opportunity to go to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the beginning of March to work with the nationally-renowned conductor, Mary Ellen Junda. Her preparation includes memorizing five pieces in various languages, including Malay, Latin, and translated Hungarian! We are proud of Julinna and her hard work to be accepted in this prestigious ensemble.
