High School Graduations

The continuation of school dismissals statewide by the Governor until at least May 1st due to the COVID-19 pandemic has brought into question the current status of graduation ceremonies for our high schools. We are committed to ensuring that the senior class of 2020 is provided an opportunity to celebrate their graduation. Consequently, we are monitoring the situation closely and communicating with the venue, BYU’s Marriott Center. At this time, we do not foresee any changes to the schedule:

Provo High on May 19th
Timpview High on May 20th
Independence High on May 21st

In the event of a continued school dismissal beyond May 1st, we may look at alternative times and locations. Please visit each school’s website and social media accounts for updated information.

La continuación de cierre de escuelas en todo el estado por parte del gobernador hasta al menos el 1o de Mayo debido a la pandemia COVID-19 ha traído muchas preguntas al estado actual de las ceremonias de graduación de nuestras escuelas preparatorias. Nos comprometemos a garantizar que la clase senior de 2020 tenga la oportunidad de celebrar su graduación. Para esto, estamos monitoreando la situación de cerca y comunicándonos con el lugar, el centro Marriott de BYU. En este momento no prevemos ningún cambio en el horario.

Provo High el 19 de Mayo
Timpview High el 20 de Mayo
Independence High en el 21 de Mayo
