Last Wednesday was a day for celebration in Provo City School District as we congratulated the class of 2018. A separate fall graduation ceremony commenced for high school students who worked hard over the summer to fulfill all requirements needed for graduation.
The state allows school districts to continue working with their students until October 1 to qualify for graduation. Those who meet the requirements by this date will count toward the previous school year’s graduation rates. This year, 36 students completed the graduation requirements over the summer. Of these 36, 18 were able to participate in the ceremony. The breakdown of graduates by school includes:
THS: 13 PHS: 14 IHS: 7 eSchool: 2
As the first event ever held in the new Provo High School’s auditorium, we were thrilled to have the students and members of the Provo City School District in attendance. Congratulations to the graduates for their hard work and we wish them luck in their future endeavors.
