Clark Planetarium is offering fun, FREE after school adventures in coding. This is for intermediate coders who want to explore exciting environments, such as outer space and frozen worlds, while executing missions using a virtual robot.   

To join all you need is a computer with mouse (a mouse is preferred over a trackpad) and internet connection with Chrome browser and a coderZ account. A coderZ account will be set up for the student on the first day of class, if necessary. This Afterschool Adventure Code is two hours, one hour on Tues., Dec. 7 and one hour on Thurs., Dec. 9 from 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Age 10 – 14.

  • Dec. 7 & 9: Learn what candy and cyberspace have in common: bites! Come learn about coding robots and get ‘info bites’ about bytes.
  • Dec. 14 & 16: Learn about crystals in space. Our Milky Way Galaxy is full of exciting things, and writing code is a great way to explore the world.
  • Dec. 28 & 30: Learn what robots do in freezing temperatures. Join our class this week to talk about the Arctic and robotic explorers.
