Building Updates Following Earthquake

The Department of Facilities inspected Timpview, Dixon and Wasatch as a result of the seismic activity in Utah yesterday.

The following was confirmed:

Timpview High School: District Maintenance Staff and structural engineers inspected and assessed the safety of the THS campus. There were some new signs of stress, but nothing that would cause any level of life/safety concerns for essential staff to return to the buildings. The afternoon/evening custodial team was cleared to work in the building for last night’s shift. Overall: No current concerns for any employees to enter the buildings.
Dixon Middle School: No new signs of stress to the structure. Essential Staff is cleared to enter all areas of the Dixon campus.
Wasatch Elementary School: No new signs of stress to the structure. Essential Staff can continue to enter all areas of the Wasatch campus.
