A Dr. Seuss Celebration

Various Dr. Seuss storybook characters greeted Provo Peaks students as they walked into school today.

In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the school celebrated the famous author through various activities. Students giggled as individuals dressed up as “Cat in the Hat” and “Thing 1” read different Dr. Seuss books aloud to them. Parents were also invited this morning to read books to their children and listen to the story characters read books.

Students also had the opportunity to munch on doughnuts and browse through the school’s book fair a little earlier than usual. Provo Peaks students loved celebrating this inspirational author and enjoyed spending the morning focusing on reading.

Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss, the author who has helped so many students learn to love reading and use their imagination.
