Ruth Ann Snow has been named as the new Principal at Spring Creek Elementary School. She will be replacing Jill Franklin, who has moved on to a new opportunity.
Ruth Ann has worked in Provo City School District for over ten years. She graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in American Studies from Brigham Young University and later earned her English as a Second Language Endorsement. Most recently she completed her M.Ed from Southern Utah University. Ruth Ann began her teaching career at Wasatch Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher and then was a 2nd grade DLI English teacher. There she served as a co-chairperson of the community council and participated on the leadership and teacher assistance teams.
In 2017, Ruth Ann was appointed Title I Coordinator at Franklin Elementary, where she led and supported language arts interventions, Title I and Title III programs, and served on the school’s leadership team. Later, Ruth Ann worked as the District Language Arts Curriculum Specialist and Dual Language Immersion Specialist. For the last two years, she has been the Assistant Principal at Wasatch Elementary School.
