Meet Mrs. Kraczek, Edgemont’s Librarian

Our school district is truly filled with such brilliant librarians.

Marianne Kraczek, the librarian at Edgemont Elementary, is known for her special ways of making reading and library time fun.

Kraczek has been an Edgemont Eagle for a few years and has changed the way students feel about books. She knows how to challenge students to read and introduces them to the world of books in an imaginative and fun way. Students at Edgemont love the time they get to spend with her and Mrs. Harker in the library.

Her efforts to foster an empowering space where students can connect with information and each other, doesn’t stop there. Kraczek always goes above and beyond to make many wonderful activities available to students. Book fairs have become major events at Edgemont – even the custodian joined in on the fun and ended up in a blow-up snowman costume!

Every day with Mrs. Kraczek is a wonderful adventure and we are so fortunate to have her as part of our district.

Nuestro distrito escolar está realmente lleno de bibliotecarios geniales.

Marianne Kraczek, la bibliotecaria de Edgemont, es famosa por sus métodos especiales de hacer que la lectura y el tiempo en la biblioteca sean divertidos.

Kraczek ya lleva unos años como águila de Edgemont y ha cambiado la forma en que los estudiantes se sienten sobre los libros. Sabe cómo desafiar a los estudiantes a leer y los introduce en al mundo de los libros en una manera imaginativa y divertida. A los estudiantes de Edgemont les encanta el tiempo que pasan con ella y con la señora Harker en la biblioteca.

Sus esfuerzos por fomentar un espacio de empoderamiento en el que los estudiantes puedan conectarse con la información y entre sí, no se acaba ahí. Kraczek siempre hace todo lo posible para ofrecer muchas actividades maravillosas a los estudiantes. Las ferias de libros se han convertido en eventos importantes en Edgemont – ¡incluso el conserje se unió a la diversión y terminó con un disfraz de muñeco de nieve inflable!

Cada día con la Sra. Kraczek es una aventura maravillosa y somos muy afortunados de tenerla como parte de nuestro distrito.
