Jarod Sites Named 2017 Principal of the Year!

Congratulations to Dixon Middle School principal Jarod Sites! The Utah Association of Secondary School Principals named Jarod as one of the 2017 Utah Secondary Principals of the Year.

Jarod has been the principal at Dixon Middle for about six years and was principal at Centennial Middle School prior. He has made a tremendous impact at Dixon, where he has utilized iPads to institute a one-to-one device initiative at the school, adopted a pre-AP English curriculum, helped initiate coding classes, among other things.

The Utah Association of Secondary School Principals will later determine if Jarod will represent Utah in the National Secondary Principal of the Year competition.
