Policy 6806 Building Closure Time

In an effort to ensure staff, student and patron safety, building closure times will be established and followed by all schools and offices in the Provo City School District. These closure times will be coordinated with building alarm activations where applicable.

In special cases that have been preapproved by the superintendent or his/her designee, or the building principal, the established closure time may be altered for a limited time period or event. This will also apply to emergency situations that may arise due to unexpected events.

The Superintendent is directed to develop procedures for compliance with this policy.
