Each year we award a few of our most deserving Education Support Professionals for acting as outstanding resources to teachers and students. We thank all of our Education Support Professionals for your excellent work this year. Here are the ESPs of the year:

Brianna Hunsaker-Martinez (Roberts) – Art Teacher at Spring Creek Elementary

Not only does she teach students to appreciate and create unique artwork, but she also helps students believe in themselves. Brianna treats each student with respect while holding them accountable for their actions.

Wendy Hernandez – Health Clerk at Spring Creek Elementary

Wendy is an incredible team player who works very hard and jumps in to help in the moment of need. She is kind, funny, and everyone that steps into our office feels welcome while she works hard to answer their questions.

Anna Geary – Instructional Assistant at Independence High

The students in our computer lab are lucky to receive the help and encouragement that Anna provides. She keeps track of student progress and has been instrumental in helping them fulfill their graduation requirements.

Karen Uhl – Child Nutrition at Canyon Crest Elementary

If there were one word to describe Karen, it would be “dependable.” In addition to being great at her job, she is always friendly, and helps to create a happy, safe environment wherever she goes.

Milagros Perry – Instructional Assistant at Centennial Middle

Our students are so lucky to have Millie as a resource to help them navigate through their classes. She is resourceful and willing to go above and beyond. She is an incredible asset to our school.

Cher Plagge – Job Coach at East Bay Post High

Cher is fully invested in the success of the school and program. She knows what needs to be done, and she quietly does it. If Cher sees a gap or need, she steps in. She is truly an advocate for the students.

Candy Jackson – Secretary at Lakeview Elementary

Candy is the smiling face that greets everyone that enters our school. Her calm demeanor and friendly personality instantly put our students, parents, and staff at ease. We rely on her to make sure the school is running smoothly.

Jaime Oldham – Secretary at Amelia Earhart Elementary

Jaime always welcomes parents, students, and volunteers calmly and patiently. She is fantastic at being helpful and going out of her way to meet the needs of our patrons.

Laura Castillo – CTE at Provo High

Laura has come up with many amazing, innovative ways to help our students. Instead of getting overwhelmed with her many tasks, she says, “We’ve got this!” and then gets to work.

Launa Naylor – Librarian at Canyon Crest Elementary

Launa is the mark of what all librarians are measured by! Her lessons take students to another level where they are engaged in meaningful and memorable activities that carry them past their time in the library.

Boe Bogdin – Custodian at Sunset View Elementary

Boe is always happy and upbeat, he makes everyone’s day more enjoyable, and his jokes are fantastic. He is very generous, and his willingness to help others makes it a pleasure and an honor to work with him.

Karolyn Davis – Custodian at Provo High

Even with her workload and lack of employees, Karolyn is always considerate and able to get things done. She is caring and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure Provo High is cared for.

Janene Kay – Health Clerk at Provost Elementary

Janene’s compassion for others makes her so valuable here at Provost, and students always feel cared for. Her positive demeanor and outlook on life make working with her a joy and a privilege.

Kincade Brickey – District Technology

Kincade is always willing to expand his knowledge. He is personable and professional in communicating his knowledge. He is committed to the success of teachers, staff, and students in our district.

Tresha Saunders – Child Nutrition at Provo Peaks Elementary

Tresha wholeheartedly stepped up to manage the kitchen at Westridge and her kitchen at Provo Peaks. Tresha has really gone above and beyond in diligently managing these two kitchens.

Connie Grange – District Maintenance

Connie Grange is a fantastic coworker. She goes out of her way to make sure that things are set up correctly so that the district’s work can move forward without interruption. She is always willing to help everyone and has one of the funniest contagious laughs.

Cada año premiamos a algunos de nuestros Profesionales de Apoyo a la Educación más meritorios por actuar como recursos sobresalientes para profesores y estudiantes. Agradecemos a todos nuestros Profesionales de Apoyo a la Educación su excelente trabajo este año. Aquí están los ESPs del año:

Brianna Hunsaker-Martinez (Roberts) – Profesora de Arte en Spring Creek

No solamente les enseña a los estudiantes a apreciar y crear obras de arte únicas, sino que también los ayuda a creer en sí mismos. Brianna trata a cada estudiante con respeto mientras los hace responsables de sus acciones.

Wendy Hernandez – Empleada de Salud en Spring Creek

Wendy es una increíble jugadora de equipo que trabaja muy duro y salta para ayudar en el momento de necesidad. Es amable y divertida, y todos los que entran en nuestra oficina se sienten bienvenidos mientras ella trabaja duro para responder a sus preguntas.

Nuestros estudiantes EL son tan afortunados de tener a Millie como un recurso para ayudarles a navegar a través de sus clases. Ella es ingeniosa y está dispuesta a ir más allá. Ella es un activo increíble para nuestra escuela.

Cher Plagge – Entrenador de Trabajo en East Bay Post High

Cher es totalmente invertido en el éxito de la escuela y el programa. Ella sabe lo que hay que hacer, y ella tranquilamente lo hace. Si Cher ve una brecha o necesidad, ella interviene. Ella es realmente un defensor de los estudiantes.

Candy Jackson – Secretaria en Lakeview Elementary

Launa Naylor – Bibliotecaria en Canyon Crest

¡Launa es la marca por la que se miden todos los bibliotecarios! Sus lecciones llevan a los estudiantes a otro nivel donde se involucran en actividades significativas y memorables que los llevan más allá de su tiempo en la biblioteca.

Boe Bogdin – Custodio en Sunset View

Boe es siempre alegre y optimista, hace que el día de todos sea más agradable, y sus chistes son fantásticos. Es muy generoso y su voluntad de ayudar a los demás hace que sea un placer y un honor trabajar con él.

Karolyn Davis – Conserje en Provo High

Incluso con su carga de trabajo y la falta de empleados, Karolyn es siempre considerada y capaz de hacer las cosas. Ella es cariñosa y considerada y va más allá de su deber para asegurar que Provo High sea cuidada.

Janene Kay – Empleada de Salud en Provost

Tresha Saunders – Nutrición Infantil en Provo Peaks

Tresha ha dado un paso adelante para manejar la cocina en Westridge y su cocina en Provo Peaks. Tresha realmente ha ido más allá en la gestión diligente de estas dos cocinas.

Connie Grange – Mantenimiento del Distrito

Connie Grange es una fantástica compañera de trabajo. Ella se desvive por asegurarse de que las cosas estén bien preparadas para que el trabajo del distrito pueda avanzar sin interrupciones. Siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a todos y tiene una de las risas más divertidas y contagiosas.
