Child Nutrition Updates During School Dismissal

Now that the school dismissal has been extended until May 1, the Child Nutrition Department has further information regarding breakfast and lunch service moving forward.

**Please read each of the 4 statements that follow in their entirety.

1. The Child Nutrition Department will continue to serve breakfast and lunch at locations throughout Provo through April 3rd. (please note Rock Canyon meals are now provided at Centennial MS due to staffing needs)

2. During the week of Spring Break, breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday at the following locations. Breakfast will be served between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

a. Amelia Earhart Elementary School

b. Edgemont Elementary School

c. Franklin Elementary School

d. Timpanogos Elementary School

e. Provo Peaks Elementary School

f. Spring Creek Elementary School

g. Sunset View Elementary School

h. Westridge Elementary School

i. Provo High School.

3. Following spring break, due to lack of demand at certain locations and staffing needs, breakfast and lunch will only continue to be served at the 9 locations listed above.

4. Effective Immediately: We have received great news from the Utah State Child Nutrition Program. ALL Provo City School District sites may now offer FREE meals regardless of whether a student is currently enrolled at that location. If you have been utilizing Grab and Go meals, please continue to do so at whatever school is closest to you. This means ALL CHILDREN ages 0-18 years, regardless of where they attend school, eat for free at any school providing meals.
