Board Announces New Business Administrator

The Board of Education announced Derek Anderson as the new Business Administrator for the district. Derek will replace Stefanie Bryant, who has accepted a position outside of the district. His position will begin on July 1st.

Derek is currently the Director of Budgeting and Accounting for Jordan School. Other previous positions include five years as Business Administrator for Uintah School District and Audit Supervisor for Deloitte and Touche.

He received both Bachelors in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from Southern Utah University. Derek is also a licensed CPA in the state of Utah.

We are excited to welcome Derek to Provo City School District.

La Junta anuncia el nuevo Administrador de Negocios

La Junta de Educación anunció a Derek Anderson como el nuevo Administrador de Negocios para el distrito. Derek reemplazará a Stefanie Bryant, que ha aceptado un puesto fuera del distrito. Su posición comenzará el 1 de julio.

Derek es actualmente el Director de Presupuesto y Contabilidad de Jordan School. Otros trabajos anteriormente incluyen cinco años como Administrador de Negocios para el Distrito Escolar de Uintah y Supervisor de Auditoría para Deloitte y Touche.

Recibió una licenciatura en Contabilidad y un Maestría en Contabilidad de Southern Utah University. Derek también es un contador público autorizado en el estado de Utah.
