At Franklin, we like to think of ourselves as the Technology Immersion School. You will be hard pressed to find any elementary school in Utah using more technology than you will find at Franklin. Not only are there many technology tools available for Franklin students, but the teachers are extremely well trained in the effective use of technology as a tool in teaching and learning.
A host of technology tools and software programs are in use to help assure each student’s success. Every classroom has a Promethean Board (interactive white board) that operates as a giant computer “touch screen” at the front of the room for teachers and students to manipulate. Grades three through six have computers on the student’s desks for use all day long. We recently implemented “one-to-one” computing in three upper grade classrooms by proviidng an i-Pad for every student. The students are so excited about this new technology!
