What PDF Files Are and How to Use Them
In order to view and/or print a PDF file, you need to install Adobe Reader on your computer.
A document standard for file transfer, Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files, has been adopted by Provo City School District. Adobe PDF is a universal file format that preserves all of the fonts, formatting, colors, and graphics of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. A PDF navigation symbol will appear next to links on this web site that go directly to a PDF document.
Click on the "Download Adobe Reader" link below to download the Adobe Reader application.
Adobe Reader will allow you to view, print and save a PDF file. New features in version 9 allow a user to fill in forms and save them with the information intact. A filled in form can then be submitted to a recipient by email attachment.
Adobe Reader is free of charge.
