Employee Resource

Welcome to the new Employee Resource!

  • Employee Resource Portal (ERP) Login
  • Employee Resource Portal (ERP) Help
  • News for Employees
  • Policies, Documents and Forms
  • PowerTeacher
  • IFAS Employee Online

All information for employees is available in a secure area called “Employee Resource Portal”.

Every district employee has access to Employee Resource Portal. To go directly to the portal, open your favorite browser and enter http://employee.provo.edu

If you are NOT an employee, but still need access to employee policies, forms and documents, you’ll find them on the Human Resources for Employees web page.

If you need assistance or cannot access the Employee Resource Portal, go to Employee Resource Portal Help. You will find step by step instructions there.

  • Help Me Log Into Employee Resource Portal
  • Watch an Employee Resource Portal Orientation Video

Once you log in, you’ll see an easy-to-use interface with buttons to access the Employee Resource Website and numerous other resources, such as your email account, Employee Online, Goalview (for Special Educators), PowerSchool Teacher, Treasures, and others.

We strongly encourage you to become familiar with accessing the Employee Resource Portal. The old website will be moved offline on November 1, 2012.

Thank you for your patience and willingness to support our efforts. We’ve tried to make the Employee Resource Portal as user-friendly as possible and welcome your feedback as we put the finishing touches on the new provo.edu.

Employee Resource Portal – Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the travel policy?

The travel policy for employees is located on the Employee Resource Website – http://158.91.5.23/emp/finres/. We are in the process of moving all policies and forms to the Employee Resource Portal, but the forms will still reside on the Employee Resource Website in the foreseeable future.

Where can I submit a work order to building maintenance?

To submit a building maintenance work order, you can log into the ERP at http://employee.provo.edu. Select “My Accounts” in the main menu and, if you have access to submit a work order to the Maintenance Help Desk it will appear there. Another way to get there is to go to the Employee Resource Website at http://158.91.5.23/emp/ and find it in the right column under “Online Services”.

Where can I submit a work order to tech support?

To submit a work order to tech support, log into the ERP at http://employee.provo.edu and select “My Accounts” in the main menu. If you have access to submit work requests to tech support, a link will appear here. You can also go to Employee Resource Website at http://158.91.5.23/emp/techint/ and click on “Submit a Work Order” in the right column.

Where are the different departments now? The website seems like it’s for parents and students, not employees.

You are correct! the new website is targeting our parents, patrons and community. The new design no longer has department information listed because of it’s new audience. User testing reveals that ‘non-employee’ website visitors understand the district and it’s organizational structure in a different way than employees understand it. We built the new website by segmenting the information specifically for our outside visitors. For example: All financial reports are now listed under “About the District” instead of making a main menu item for the Business Department and then linking to the financial reports from there. It makes more sense to our target audience. Doing things like this helps the website become more useful for them. The Employee Resource Website located at http://158.91.5.23/emp/ is still segmented by department because employees understand that type of hierarchy.

I can’t find a link to Powerschool Admin. Please Help?

If you have been given access to PowerSchool Admin, you can find it in the ERP under the “My Accounts” menu. You can also get to it here http://158.91.5.23/emp/ in the right column.

If I can’t find something I know I should have access to in the Employee Resource Portal, how can I correct this?

Send an email to our talented ERP administrator, Stephen Moss, at stephenm@provo.edu and request access.

Superintendent’s Message

05-21-13

With just a few days remaining in the school year, it is a time when we think about all of the people to whom we’ll be saying farewell. We pay tribute to the hundreds of students who will walk across the stage at Commencement ceremonies. They will have earned their diplomas, and like their parents, we hope we have contributed to preparing them well for post-high school life, whether they will go directly to university/college/tech schools, missionary service, the military, or other worthy pursuits. Our graduating seniors will have had the chance to experience the “four A’s of education;” academics, activities, athletics, and the arts. We wish them well on each of their individual and unique journeys in life...
