Canyon Crest Students Dance Their Way to the Top

Congratulations to Canyon Crest students Ella Thompson and Emily Turner for receiving Awards in Excellence in the District PTA Reflections Contest!

The District PTA Reflections Contest is an opportunity for all students to participate in and explore the arts. Each year, one general theme is chosen for the contest and students create various forms of art (such as dance choreography, music competition, visual arts, photography, etc,) revolving around that theme.

This year’s contest theme was “What is your story?”. Ella and Emily chose to compete in the Dance Choreography category and had the challenge of creating original choreography that was related to this theme. Both girls did very well and will be moving on to the state competition.

Provo City School District would like to congratulate all of the students who competed this year and thank the PTA for all of the hard work that was put into making the contest a success.
